China Overseas Chinese Network, August 12: According to Malaysia News Agency, the Director-General of the Malaysian Immigration Department, Sri Khairul Zaimi, stated that there are currently over 9,000 international passports issued online that remain unclaimed across Malaysia. Applicants should immediately collect their passports at the passport issuance office to prevent the passports from being canceled.
The Minister of Home Affairs, Sri Hamzah Zainuddin, had previously reminded the public to collect their online passport applications promptly, as unclaimed passports will be canceled 90 days after issuance.
